LVDS FPD Link 3 reverse channel SPI pass-through ?

Hello,

I'm working on LVDS FPD Link 3 repeater and I need SPI communication (or GPIOs) pass-through it. I did not connect SPI buses because I use the repeater mode. My ICs are DS90UB947 and DS90UB948.

The situation is: Serializer1 --> (Deserializer1 --> Serializer2) --> Deserializer2, where my repeater is in brackets. The SPI communication flows in reverse channel from Deserializer2 to Serializer1, but I see the SPI data at Serializer2 only althouhgt Ser2 and Des1 are set as repeaters.

Can I set my repeater to pass SPI data through (reverse channel) or do I have to connect both SPI interfaces Ser2 and Des1?

Is possible to make a general repeater that passes GPIOs and SPI and does not need to be reprogrammed by its I2C?

Thanks for any answer.
