SN65DSI86 register

Hi Sir,

Our customer used the SN65DSI86ZQER, but the panel show the error.

They are check the register 0xF4 is 0x9.

Why the register 0xF4 wrote 0x9? what's problem?

We are not very clear what it description as below from Datasheet. "AUX_RPLY_TOUT. The DSIx6 will attempt to complete an AUX request by retrying the request seven times. This field is set if the response to the last retry is a 400-µs timeout."

We will need to see an AUX analyzer capture of the link training process to understand what would be failing.

Please, prodive more details on the customer implementation:

1. Register dump

2. Panel datasheet

3. DSI Input configuration

4. Failure rate

5. Method for Link Training

This interrupt is generated when the DSI86 attempts to perform a Native Aux transaction. Please, refer to 8.4.5.2.1 Native Aux Transactions section of the datasheet for details

Hello Hugo,

Still checking the register settings.

As per my understanding, the customer is uanble to perform Aux transactions, is that correct? Or do they already have the EDID and DPCD information of the panel?

Does the issue happen when the attempt to follow the power-Up sequence (section 8.4.2)?
