Hello,

Our customer uses the SN65DSI84 in some application.

The customer wants to reduce the current consumption as lower as possible.

Perhaps, there are two PLL circuits for DSI CLK and REFCLK in the SN65DSI84.

When the customer does not use the REFCLK, is the PLL circuit for REFCLK inactive?

Hello Naoki,

The DSI84 has only one PLL which is feeed by the REFCLK or DSI CLK input based on the HS_CLK_SRC bit status.
As the device datasheet states when an external reference clock is not used, the REFCLK pin should be pulled to GND.

Hello Joel,

Thank you for your reply.
I understood there is only one PLL.
So there is almost no difference of the current consumption
between using DSI clock and using REFCLK.
