On a RJ-45 connector with integrated magnetic (schematic below), would one simply power the center-tap up to the VCC of the SN65HVD10?

    Dear Rob,

    I have not had any experience with these type of connectors but it seems that these are rather for Ethernet applications and not for RS485, as RS485 usually does not use dc-biasing on the bus lines. This biasing would look to RS485 like a low-impedance common-mode voltage.
