DS80PCI810 some question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS80PCI810

Hello,

Our customer uses the DS80PCI810, has some questions.

1) Does it need  two AC capacitor for one line between DS80PCI810 and an external transmitter?

The customer insert only one AC capacitor now.

2) The customer uses two devices and one EEPROM. The size of EEPROM is 250bytes.

Does it capable to write program for two devices?

3) In the 4-LEVEL Control Pin setting. Is it possible to connect  to GND directly for '0' and connect

to VDD directly for '1' ?

Best Regards,

Naoki Aoyama

  • Hi Naoki,

    1. Only one capacitor is needed.  It is not recommended or required to place two capacitors in series.

    2. Yes, a single 256 Byte EEPROM can be used to program up to 4 separate devices.

    3. Yes it is possible to connect to GND or VDD directly.  Please note, if the device is configured to support VIN = 3.3V, then the 4-level control pin should be tied to VIN (not VDD).  If the application is supplying VDD = 2.5V directly into the DS80PCI810 then the 4-level control pin should be tied to VDD.
