ULN2803A / Input voltage

Hi,

Our customers have plan to change from competitor darlington to TI darlington.
An off state threshold input voltage is unknown (min/max).
Could you provide the information me?

I do not have this information readily available, but I can test a couple samples on the bench to see what the transition point is typically.

I was reading the datasheet just now.
I guess how calculate as follow,

Ii(off) = 65 uAtyp
Integrated resistor Rin = 2.7k + 7.2k + 3k = 12.9kohm
Vi(off) = 12.9k * 65u = 0.8385V

Ii(off)min = 50uA ..... -23% from 65uA ..... Vin (off) is assumed to contain a ± 23% error,

Vi(off) = min:0.6456V / typ:0.8385V / max:1.031V

Is calculate result correct?

Hello Nagai-san,

Yes, this would be an appropriate way to calculate the Voff typ and range.

I will work to gather bench data on a couple units to get a typical reading.

Please find curves for the ULN2803A over temperature with regards to VOL and VOH.

Please note that this was tested on a single device, and is only considered typical data. This data is not a guarantee of the specification of the device.
