Sorry to bother you.

We would like use TI TPS65982.

We saw a lots TPS65982 family... Like TPS65982D/981/983/986

May i know what different between them? (besides temp/ package)

    • The TPS65982 is the original and most highly integrated USB Type-C & PD Port Controller on the market with 3 integrated power paths: PP_5V0 to source 5V to VBUS, PP_HV to Sink/Source 5-20V from/to VBUS at up to 3A, and control for External PP_EXT NFETs to Sink/Source 5-20V from/to VBUS at up to 5A (up to 100 Watts). This device also includes a High Speed mux for ThunderBolt and DisplayPort sideband data. 
    • The TPS65986 is similar without control for the PP_EXT FET path or ThunderBolt support
    • The TPS65981 is the same 3 Power Paths in a 56-pin QFN package (for Consumer/Industrial/Automotive applications). ThunderBolt is not included
    • The TPS65983 is a special product for ThunderBolt 3 devices (for example: hard drives, docks, and monitors) that connect to ThunderBolt 3 hosts (such as tablets, notebooks, and workstations) 
    • The TPS65982D is not released and it does not have a product folder on TI's website

    The TPS65982, TPS65986, and TPS65983 are all pin-2-pin compatible in a 96-pin BGA package.
