Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB9261

Hi Sir,

Sorry to bother you.

We have use TUSB9261, the device is Transcend SSD.

Question is when system do cold boot test at factory.

System have C/D/E disk that only E disk have use TUSB9261.

C/D disk is normal, sometimes the system will show Disk error or NTSF error at Disk E.
We have discuss with Transcend FAE, Looks because SSD no receive shut down comment.
We would like to know TUSB9261 have include pass shut down comment from USB signal to SATA signal??

How to make sure TUSB9261 all input/ output function are normal??

Please share your experience, Thanks for your reply.

  • Hello,

What is the TUSB9261's firmware version they are using?

Regarding the pass-through commands, only Codes 0, 1 and 15 are handled by the bridge, all the others are passed directly from the host to the device.

Which code is the "shut down" command?

Does the issue happens 100% of times?

Does the issue happens with multiple SSDs and HDDs?

Are they enabling UAS in the flash burner?

    Regards

  • Hi Elias

    Thanks for your support.

Please refer my reply as below

1.What is the TUSB9261's firmware version they are using?

A:TI FW V1.05 is using in the factory now. (TI FW V0.99 is used before). These two versions ever cause Disk error, NTSF error issues

2.Regarding the pass-through commands, only Codes 0, 1 and 15 are handled by the bridge, all the others are passed directly from the host to the device. Which code is the "shut down" command?

A: Sorry, I'm not sure what is mean, could you give us some advice.

3.Does the issue happens 100% of times?

    A:No, not 100%

4.Does the issue happens with multiple SSDs and HDDs? There are 3 SSDs in the system. If the system with these issues, it happens on E disk with TUSB9261. Are they enabling UAS in the flash burner?

A: Sorry, I'm not sure what is “UAS in the flash burner” means?

    Our Burner SOP is
