    Hi Yaita-san,

    USB2MANY-EVM has been renamed to USB-C-PD-INT-EVM due to conflicts with another TI EVM. Documentation is in the process of being updated. This EVM will begin to be paired/bundled with our future EVM releases. At the time of this post the current release schedule for this EVM is end of August.

    Karl is 100% correct.

    To prevent future confusion, I have removed all references to "USB2MANY" from documentation published online.

    I have replaced these references with "Aardvark" where the Total Phase Aardvark board can be substituted.
    I left a few pictures showing a "custom FTDI-based adapter" and "LaunchPad to Aardvark adapter PCB" in the documents in case some customers want to create their own breakout board for product development.

    The "USB-C-PD-INT-EVM" will eventually be a cost-optimized replacement for the Aardvark and will ship with every TPS65982-EVM

    hi,

    Can I check if the USB-C-PD-INT-EVM is available? My customer is trying to evaluate TPS65982-EVM. They do not have Aardvark cable but they are using FTDI UM232H-B, can this cable work with TPS65982-evm kit?  When using TPS6598x Host interface Tools, he encountered error message "Exception Encountered during Configuration Test: USB_EP interface loading Error: No module named usb.core". Does this means we cannot use UM232H-B cable? Where can I get USB-C-PD-INT-EVM, I cannot find it at TI Store either.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your information. But now we are using TPS65982-EVM and we don't ave Aardvark. I have seen  the pictures of "FTDI based adapter" in the documents. So now can we buy "USB-C-PD-INT-EVM" somewhere? Thank you so much!

    Hi Ting,

    This is an internal EVM, not for sale.
    The same functionality is available through a break-out board available with the TPS65981-EVM.
