What is the maximum threhold for Vilc of PCA9517

Hi TI experts,

In the datasheet of PCA9517, there is one parameter named Vilc.

The datasheet gives the minimum and typical value for this parameter, but maximum value is not given.

Does that mean, there is no requirement for the maximum threhold for Vilc? Or if you have, could you please offer me the maximum threhold for Vilc?

If a IIC signal with the Vol as 400mV is connected to the side B of PCA9517, is there a problem?

Hi,

We provide the typical value of VILC in the datasheet (see image below):

We do not provide min/max because the difference of VOL - VILC will equal 0.5V which is the offset that is shown on the B - side of the device.

Hi Jon,

I don't see an issue with this, but keep in mind that if you exceed the 0.4V static offset, it is possible to have communication problems between the slave and buffer. This is due to misreading a low signal.
