Our customer has a question about TPD12S016.

I'm posting the question for the customer:

Are the following values correct ?

In the datasheet: SLLSE96F;

p.6, 6.3 Recommended Operating Conditions
VIL [SCL_A,SDA_L VCCA=1.1Vto3.6V] : "0.082xVCCA" V (MAX)
VIL [CEC_A VCCA=1.1Vto3.6V] : "0.082xVCCA" V (MAX)

p.8, Electrical Characteristics (continued),VOLTAGE LEVEL SHIFTER – HPD LINE (x_A AND x_B PORTS)
VOHA [IOH=-3mA,VI=VIH, VCCA=1.1Vto3.6V] : "VCCAx0.07" V (MIN)

p.6) I think Low-level input voltage is typically "0.2~0.3xVCC". Those are too small.
Even the VOL of TPD12S016/SDA&SCL is "0.17xVCCA" .(p.7

p.8) It should be "VCCAx0.7".

I agree that on page 8 "VCCAx0.07" should be on the order of "VCCAx0.7". But since 0.07 has been the value since the first data sheet 5 years ago, I will need to confirm with the design what the actual value is.

The A-side VIL_Max of 0.082xVCCA is correct for the SCL/SDA lines. VIL has to be lower than VOL to support bidirectional translation.

VCCAx0.7 should be the Min value for the HPD VOHA. Thanks for pointing outthis error and I will submit for a data sheet update, which takes about a week to be online.
