TPS25740EVM not working

Hi Guys,

I recently bought TPS25740 and I think it is not working properly. Upon powering up, there is no gate drive on the output switch and there is no power on the Vaux, DVDD and Vtx.

Please help me debug this guys. Thanks.

Hello William,

Do you have a UFP connected to the EVM using a type C cable? Please see the snippet below from the EVM user guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuap7/slvuap7.pdf) and also refer to equipment setup and operation also in the EVM user guide.

Thank you Eric. I think it is working now.

Our product is actually DCDC charger.

Now for the actual testing. I am using TPS65982-EVM configured as High power Bus powered device. I followed the configuration table [1110] on the switch but the board does not request to increase the output voltage of the TPS25740.
