SigCon Architect - Using with customer board

Hi Team,

Please advise us how we could use SigCon Architect with the LMH1218 on customer board.

I believe user would need SMBus access (instead of SPI) to their board from USB-to-ANY. I am asking customer to use SMBus if they want to use SigCon Architect, but can it be connected with SPI ?

Hi Kawai-san,

Sorry for the delay in response. To use SigCon Architect, the customer will need to place the LMH1218 in SMBus Mode, and they will need a USB2ANY or DPS-DONGLE-EVM board to establish communication if they are not using one of our EVMs. The USB2ANY dongle is kitted with the LMH1218EVM, so if they have worked with the LMH1218EVM at all, they should also have the dongle.

SigCon Architect does not support SPI.
