How many PCB trace can be drived by SN65DP159?

Dear Team:

 Our customer would like to place SN65DP159 in their desktop  product that have main boad (8inches length) and dauther board (6inches length). Connection 2 board is by 16 inches HDMI cable.

They don't know which board place SN65DP159 better.

 They would like to know SN65DP159 can driver how many PCB trace lenght?

And need our suggestion to place SN65DP159 in main or dauther board.

    Hi Thomas,

    We don't have a parameter for supported length, it is very application dependent, customer needs to measure channel loss, this device can choose EQ automatically from 2 to 15dB.
    Common practice is to place DP159 close to HDMI connector.
