TCA9555 - Revision History from REV.B to REV.C or D

Hi Team,

Please allow me to ask one thing that I believe it is just erroneously omitted to write down one change in the revision history.

In the revision history of TCA9555 (SCPS200D), change of ICC is only listed for "ICC standby mode". Why is "ICC operating mode" not listed here ?

[SCPS200D]

[SCPS200B]

  • Kawai-san,

Thank you for pointing this out to us.

I went and checked the datasheet source code. It looks like the tag that automatically populates the change log had the wrong revision letter tied to it, so it didn't get loaded into the change table.

    I will fix this.

  • Hi Jonathan-san,

Thank you for your support. Is the datasheet revision going to be changed to REV.E or just adding one sentence in the history?

    Best Regards,

  • Kawai-san,

Yes. The way TI's datasheet system works, is that once we push the button to upload a datasheet to the web, it becomes 'locked', and we are unable to change anything without create another revision.

We have a scheduled update for this datasheet coming up, and the change will get pushed out with that.

There is 1 exception to this rule, and that is when a tape or reel get added to an existing package, because it doesn't change anything but an orderable
