hi expert,

Can TUSB8020B work as USB2.0 hub controller? When upstream is only connect to USB2.0, and all downstream are USB2.0 as well.

When upstream connect to USB3.0, downstream can be either USB2 or 3. Thank you.

Correct,
If the upstream connection is only USB2.0 all the downstream ports will be only USB2.0 as well.
If the upstream connection is USB3.0 then the downstream ports will be USB3.0 or USB2.0 depending on the downstream device attached.
