I am trying to run the Analog Launchpad Framework Utility software on a computer but I received an error message about not having the updated USB2ANY firm version 2.5.0.0. How do I update the firmware version? Is there a link I can download it from?

Hi Konstance,

If you are using Analog Launchpad, the tool should have firmware already available to update from the version you have. Is your USB2ANY empty? What device are you attempting to use Analog Launchpad with?

I have a 1080p HDMI to FPD-Link III Bridge Serializer DS90UB949-Q1. Yes I think it is. Do I need to have a USB2ANY component to connect to the PC?

I don't have the USB (USB2ANY). If I need it in order to run the Analog Launchpad, how do I purchase it?

Hi Konstance,
Normally USB2ANY is not sold by itself. It usually comes with an evaluation board. You can use Aardvark and it has the same functionality. Here is a link to Aardvark:

Hi Konstance,

If you specifically need to use ALP, then I recommend getting in touch with a local TI sales representative to obtain a USB2ANY board that you can use in order to operate the software to control your board. Alternatively, you can purchase an EVM in which the USB2ANY is kitted, then only use the USB2ANY.

Unfortunately, like Nasser said, these items are not sold separately per TI policy.
