AM26C31 interface with 3.3V microcontroller

Hello

I am using AM26C31 RS422 driver and i need to interface it with my 3.3V microcontroller (stm32f427).

AM26C31 works in +5V supply. So do i need to use any level translator between AM26C31 and uController?

AM26C31 has voltage levels:

VOH 2V min

VIL 0.8V max

And STM32f427 has levels:

VOL 0.4V max

VIL 2.9V min

Azeem,

No translation will be needed. The 3.3V CMOS output satisfies the input requirement.
The no load ICC increases from near zero to 1.5mA.

As an alternative device, the AM26LV31E can directly run from the 3.3V supply.
