what's max PCB trace distance between host controller and TUSB211

Hello,

We have a Notebook project and using TUSB211. The PCB trace distance between host controller and the USB port is 12000mils. Can TUSB211 support such distance?

Hello,

The TUSB211 should be able to handle the distance, however I recommend to include two re-drivers on the signal path (one close to the Host and the other close to the connector) and as a first approach populate only the TUSB211 on the connector side.

If use two redriver, should we place one in the middle path and the other one close to connector?

Do you have any test data shows the max PCB trace distance that TUSB211 can handle in ideal case?
