25G Retimer DFE , specs, etc..

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS250DF810

(reposting the thread below as it was incorrectly posted in the wrong forum :) )

Hello, I'm looking for a 25G retiming solution for a Customer reference board which will be subseqently leveraged in our end customer's designs.  I had a few questions about this part.

1. Is there a more detailed datasheet?  What's on the website is very light.

2. How many taps is in the DFE receiver?

3.  How do I get a ballpark estimated (non-binding cost).  I.e. Just looking for 800 of the *410 or 400 of the *810?

4. How much power does it consume?

I'm interested in using the retimer device to redrive optics OR passive cables.  I'm very interested in learning if there are any concerns with this application.  My CPU will be across the motherboard so I will need to retime/redrive in both directions.  In one case, there will be very little loss with optics but significant loss when cables are inserted (hotswap). I'm Interested in understanding if there are any considerations/limitations for very short or long channels with these retimers so that I can consider configuration options to support both use cases

Thanks,

Simba
