Hi team

Please reference my attachment FileBillboard device issue.docx

We use same NB(Win10) / cable / Docking(TPS65982)

NB use dell Dongle can show Billboard device.

So , we think OS and driver are correct.

BTW

We use different FW on TPS65982 flash for test.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FW1.11.00 --> It have show Billboard device , but device manager have yellow mark

FW 1.11.02 --> Device manager show Input device , but it did not have yellow mark.

 

We want use FW1.11.02 , but we need show billboard device on device Manager.

How did we fix issue ?

    Hi,

    Can you send us the logs for this issue? The Windows 10 should not detect the TPS65982 as Input device. Can you please send the logs for both of these issues? We will check with the firmware team.

    We have test again , FW 1.11.02 have show Billboard device , but device manager have yellow mark.
    It is same with FW1.11.00.
    BTW how to fix yellow mark ? Did you have any driver ?

    Hi all,

     We see similar question in samsung galaxy TabPro S. Using FW 1.7.9, Device name is "TPS65982" and no yellow mark shown on device manager. But in FW 1.11.02, Device name is "Billboard Device" with yellow ! mark. (And all PD/Alternate function is correct...) Maybe that's windows problem, but is there any difference in FW 1.7.9 and 1.11.2 in billboard function?
