We have interfaced XIO2001 PCIe to PCI bridge to AM5728 in a customized design. We have also installed Linux OS in our system. Kindly let us know if the device will be detected by itself or it needs a driver to configure it.
We have not programmed the EEPROM , which is connected to XIO2001. As per datasheet EEPROM stores the initial configuration of the bridge which the bridge retains after power on sequence. Correct me if i am wrong.
So do we require the EEPROM for Bridge configuration or not?? If yes then please let us know how we can program the EEPROM & also share the basic configuration files used in EVM required to dump in the EEPROM.
