    The TUSB211 is designed as not to break the USB DP and DM traces, pin 1 should connect to pin 8, and pin 2 should connect to pin 7 (Pins shorted by running traces underneath the part).  Please refer to section 10 of the datasheet for routing info.

    We also recommend to start with a lower EQ setting (EQ1) of 1.7K Ohm.  This can be increased to 3.9K if the eye-opening is not sufficient.
