The TUSB322i asks for a resistor values of 891k-909K between VBUS_DET and VBUS.

900K resistors with a 1% tolerance are hard to find.

Could i use a 909k resistor with 1% tolerance?

Could you explain to me why the Range in resistor values is so small?

It is all related to the internal VBUS threshold, and the value for the external resistor is fixed to the range 891 - 909 KOhms. You can see the values on the datasheet page 6 ( VBUS_DET IO Pin section)
