Hello,

Our customer use the DS50PCI402.

It is mentioned 'Output will test for the presence of receiver input every 12ms' on the datasheet.

How about the variation of this time (12ms) due to the process variation?

Do you have any data?

Of course,the customer know that the value is not guarantee.

Hi,

The oscillator is free running. It has about +/- 15% variation across PVT.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.
The customer checked the test timing of the each lane.
The result is 18ms difference.
Is the start timing of the test different from each lane?

Hi,

All lanes of the DS50PCI402 will start to perform the Rx Detection function at the same time. If some lanes do not detect right away they could finish at different times. I agree, 18ms is an odd difference between the channels.
