[ TUSB9261/TUSB9261-Q1 ] Default Firmware related queries

Hi,

Can you help to support some questions from my customer which are related to firmware of TUSB9261?

<Q1:Firmware for TUSB9261 DEMO Board>:

Does TUSB9261 DEMO Board use same Default Firmware which can be downloaded from TI.com?
In other words, are all of GPIO/PWM pin features described in the table below supported by default firmware?

<Q2: Firmware Customization>:

Can TI discuss the firmware customization with customer? or do you prefer to ask customer to have discussion with third party?

<Q3: Internal Register Map and Dynamic Modification during operation>:

I cannot see the register map in the datasheet, can you share the register map?
Also, as typical usage, is it expected to change resister values during operation through interface?

(Sorry for asking basic questions, I'm still on the way to understand the feature of this device.)

Thank you for your help in advance.
Regards,
Ken

  • I have checked other post and not can be self-closed...

    <Q1:Firmware for TUSB9261 DEMO Board>:

The GPIO configuration of default firmware is described at implementation guide as below.
You may need  to make sure whether the firmware version and description in app. note are matched or not.
This kind of mismatch often make us busy...: (

    <Q2: Firmware Customization>:

It's depend on business situation and required "reasonable reason" why TI need to support. Normally no.

<Q3: Internal Register Map and Dynamic Modification during operation>:

It does not intend the internal register to be accessed from outside, it's normally only accessible from firmware.

Please let me know, if I miss something.
    Thanks,
    Ken
