One of our customer want only one PHY (PORT) to interface with MAC of MCU, can you please suggest the modifications/suggestions in the EVM schematics.

Hi Shinu,

Your customer can select either port A or port B of the DP83849 to connect to their MCU.

If your customer wants a single port PHY and does not need 2 PHYs, then I'd recommend using the DP83822I.

Thanks for the quick response. Customer can use any of the port and can keep other port pins unconnected, correct? Or needs to take any precautions on pin terminations.
