12G SDI receiver to 2x6G SDI

I want to receive 12G SDI into a Kintex FPGA that supports a maximum of 6G speeds. So my idea is to have some device that splits the 12G into 2 x 6G. Is this something that TI produces?

    Xilinx Kintex FPGA IP supports splitting 12G SDI into two 6G SDI video frame. At the moment, i am not aware of any TI ASIC that performs this function.

    Yes I know that I could do it within the FPGA itself, but I want to use a lower speed grade that only supports 6G speeds. So that is my problem. Does TI may be do a device that splits a SERDES into multiple lower frequency SERDES that could be used?

    I understand your requirement. As you noted you want to use a lower grade or cost FPGA vs a more expensive FPGA. With additional 12G SDI penetration and based on past new SMPTE spec introduction, over time the overall FPGA cost comes down. In any case, i am not aware of a TI device that splits 12G SDI into two 6G SDI links.
