Signal conditioner for 1GE/10GE and SDI?

Hi,

I am looking for a retimer device that supports both 1GE/10GE and SDI data rates as low as 270Mbps. Can the DS125DF410 be programmed to lock to 270Mbps SDI?

Please check the LMH1226 datasheet. It may meet your requests.

If you need SDI Cable driver or Cable equalizer, please check LMH1218 and/or LMH1219 as well.

Hi Josh,

To add onto Mita-san's response, please note that both 1.25 Gbps and MADI (125 Mbps) type data will pass through the LMH1226 EQ only. The data will still transmit through the LMH1226, but this device does not support a retiming function for the 1GbE data rate.

Can LMH1226 support the bypass output for 1GbE?
Is there any possibility to support 1GbE output?

Hi Kanae,

If a 1 GbE signal is presented at the input of the LMH1226, the LMH1226 will apply a fixed amount of EQ, and the signal will bypass the CDR. Therefore, the 1 GbE signal will still be supported and will pass through the device, but there is no retimer support available for this data rate.

I understand that LMH1226 will support the 1GbE signal with some limitations.
However I suppose it is unreasonable to use LMH1226.
