DS90UB914a NAK's I2C requests after it achieves serial lock with DS90UB913a

Hi,

We have a FPGA board with 914a De-serializer and we are able to access its register space over I2C  (ID 0xc0).

As soon as we connect the DS90UB913a EVM  RevA module using Fakra connector, power over co-ax we are able to lock with it.  But the I2C access to 914a is lost. The 914a starts to send NAK's for the same device id that was working before (ID 0xc0) . This was observed on the scope as well as the FPGA chipscope.

The  0x06 - SER ID and 0x07-SER ID Alias registers of 914A have 0x0B - default ID of 913a EVM.

I2C pass through bit 0x03[3] is enabled and I2C pass through all bit 0x21[7] is disabled.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Vivek
