We have reserve test point for DIR0, DIR1, SWAP, CFG1, CFG0, DEQ0, DEQ1, CTL1,
If we just use I2C for TUSB1044 configuration, these above-mentioned pins still needed?
Or just floating them?
Regarding “HPDIN” as the description in datasheet, what are the difference if I2C_EN=0 or 1?
Since currently our I2C_EN is connect to 3.3V via 1Kohm.
I found the TUB1044 have no external HW reset pin, so if there have an error/ fault event occur, the only way we have is to shutdown TUSB1044 by disable VCC, but currently, our VCC have share the power source with other components, such like touch panel…ect, that would impact system function.
If the concern is true, it’s necessary to make TUSB1044 VCC isolated without shared, do you have any comment for that?
