Audio or Data Interface using Transformer Coupling

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51025

We are designing a device that can be snapped in and out of a holder. The holder contains all the connectors but the device has no contacts or connectors. I want both power and data to be contactless.

For power, I am using the TI bq51025. It uses a wireless (transformer coupled) interface. This takes care of the power issue.

Now for the data. I would like to use a similar interface to send data (both ways). Since our data is audio in, audio out, and a switch input, I could encode this on a data stream (PCM, etc).

Question: Does TI offer anything that will help me send/receive data without using contacts (much like the wireless power interface which uses wound coils)?
