TCA9539-Q1 I2C register compatible with TCA1116?

Hi Team,

Is TCA95390 has the same I2C register and configuration bit with TCA1116, i noticed these two part are P2P compatible, and another question list also recommed to replace TCA1116 to TCA9539. Currently customer is using TCA1116, and have the existing software, so i want to check do they use the same I2C register configuration?

Another question is that in the TCA9539 EVM, i noticed the schematic, U1 is TCA6424, and U2 is TCA6416, but in the BOM, it mentions TCA9539, so what's the problem?
