Dear, All

A customer has been designed using the SN65HVD73.
They may want to know about the Receiver Inputs circuit of SN65HVD73.
They want to adjust the voltage of the failsafe.
Please tell me the resistance value of R1/R2/R3 on "Figure 28. Receiver Inputs" of P18 of the data sheet.
It is OK in the outline level.

Hi Masami,

The total resistance value of the internal resistors in the SN65HVD73 are in the high k ohms. I do not know the exact value and will need to measure it or consult with the design team. If the customer wants to adjust the voltage they can simply add their own failsafe circuitry on the bus pins. Here is an app note that discusses failsafe circuits: www.ti.com/.../slyt514.pdf
