TPS65982 Dual port application : How long time is required for switching PD controller?

Hi team,

Datasheet has Figure 79. [ Dual-Port Notebook Application ].
I assume the system controller needs to control both TPS65982 so as not to turn on concurrently.
In some case, the system controller needs to control one TPS65982 to be OFF from ON, and another TPS65982 to be ON from OFF.
In this switching transition, there should be a duration time that there are no power supply provided from either port.
How long time is required for the duration time in the switching transition?

    Hi Kinjoh,

    The system controller doesn't need to do anything for proper boot-up sequence of the PD controllers. Please check the Figure.85 of the datasheet which explains the boot-up sequence of two TPS65982 PD controllers.

    The system controller is only needed yo control TPS65982 after they boot-up and are in process to make new contracts. In this situtation the system controller will tell the TPS65982 about what PDOs and features could be enabled or disabled.
