TCA6416A Standby Supply Current

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA6416A

Hi,

Is Icc(Icci + Iccp) which is masked in a red frame as below a standby supply current although it is mentioned on page 7 of TCA6416A data sheet ?
In addition, is the difference between the following Icc only having the clock supply(400kHz@fscl) or not ?

Best regards,
Kato

  • Hello Kato-San,

You are correct that the red framed information is essentially the stand supply current.  This assumes that both supplies (Vcci = Vccp) are at the same voltage and these are worst case currents for the given voltage range.  The Icc box above your red frame is essentially when the internal state machine is operating given fscl is at 400kHz.
