TCA9157, Hot-Swap solution

HVL-SC support team,

Our customer is thinking the usage of TCA9517 as the following block diagram.

Tablet and keyboard(KBD) is attached and de-attached by end user in market.

Is TCA9517 available like this?

    Hello Tamio,
    I would like to ask a few questions. Would the master hold the GPIO to the EN pin low until needed? The TCA9517 is not specifically designed for hot plug applications but has been used many times in this type of application. I would probably add a pull down resistor on the KBD side to the EN of TCA9517. As long as the EN is held low during hot plug you will not have any issues.

    Can you clarify what you mean by "Is TCA9517 available like this?"
