I have a customer who is asking the following question:

I am trying to run USB receiver device sensitivity test with Keysight scope and pulse generator. It appears that the TUSB1210 does not respond to a TEST_SE0_NAK command from a host computer. The part performed as expected to transmit eye testing but appears to have an issue with the receiver test. Is this expected?

I am not familiar with this test. Can you let me know if the customer is seeing the expected behavior or if there is something he is missing?

What controller/MCU are they using?

Could you share more details of this test setup? schematics, block diagrams, etc?

Hello Richard,

Please see the section 6.6.6.1 high-speed Electrical Test mode Support of the USB On-theGo spec, where the details fo the Test-SE0-NAK are defined. Basically the device presents a VID= 0x1A0A and PID= 0x0101 pair that defines a test model.
