about DS15BA101 for cable extended application

Dear Sirs

I use TI DS15BA101  for cable extended application. (30m)

But the LVDS signal will be reduced to below 250mV on recevier DS15EA101 and the signal quality is bad.

I have set DS15BA101  Rvo to 487Ω to let output voltage to achieve 800 mVP-P.

If I want the signal quality is good.

Do you have any suggestion?

    Hi Nat,

    1). When you say "the signal quality is bad". Are you saying you are getting bit error or the image on main board is corrupted?

    2). If you mean image is bad or corrupted, can you reduce the Do you see a similar problem if you reduce cable length from 30m to a shorter length? For example 10m or 5m. Do you see a similar problem at these shorter cable lengths?
