DS90LV019 (IoH and IoL)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90LV019

Hello Team,

Can you provide the (IoH) and the (IoL) of the DS90LV019?

I did not see this in the datasheet.

Also, what is the Max Frequency of the DS90LV019? The datasheet says above 100Mbps however is there a more precise specification?

  • Hi Ed,

    It is a little buried in the electrical table.

    IOH = - 400uA

    IOL = 2 mA

    Above 100 MHz or 200 Mbps datarate, the performance will degrade.  Anytime there is a single-ended to differential conversion, the analog performance is limited. I would not push this device above this frequency without studying the output waveform characteristics in an IBIS simulation.

  • Hi Lee,

    Thank you for this information. I did see it after you pointed this out.

    I do appreciate your time.
