Hi,

I received following question from my customer.

TPS2549-Q1 has larger capacitance of DM,DP_in,out pin than TPS2546-Q1.

Is this caused by protection block?

And has this device certified USB2.0 when D+/D- connect with DM,DP_in,out?

There is following mentioned on the datasheet.

The analog switch capacitance for TPS2549Q1 will be slightly larger than TPS2546Q1 due to the built in IEC ESD protection. However, TPS2549Q1 can still pass the USB 2.0 eye diagram requirements.

Has the TPS2549-Q1 passed cable Assembly Compliance Test?
My customer is worrying that USB2.0 can't be certified when connected a cable.
Because DM,DP_in,out pin capacitance is large.
