Hi team,
One of our customer faces a problem may need your support.
Problem: When a specific medical device is connected, the PC works fine. However, when the PC is turning off, it is hanging on the POWERDOWN screen and never completely off. Note: It did not happen from previous platforms (GIGABYTE B85 and H81).
Envirnment:OS win7 32bit; BIOS:V1.03
The thing they have done:
- If the device directly connect to USB port on Intel chip without TUSB7320, the system works fine.
- Disable USB3.0-> fail
- Update xHCI driver from TI website -> fail
- When the system is changed to WIN8.1 x64 (with driver), the monitor is off firstly and the PC was still on. After while, the PC is then completely off. (Same thing happened to Win7 x64 envirnment too)
- Updated the deivce driver -> fail, but the failure rate was a bit lower.
- Windows update-> fail.
- "USB selective suspend setting" turnd ON-> fail.
- The device was connect directly to Intel's USB port throguh a hub, the system works fine.
- They have tried to changed some PCIE configuration in BIOS, and it does not help the issue.
Please let me know if you need any other information. Please advised.
