If I use DS100BR111 to do active cable extender for SFP+ for 10G-KR
Beside Table12 recommend setting ,Have any thing I need to take care
Due to our customer feedback below information ,do you have any idea about this case ??
Unfortunately both 7m and 10m failed system traffic test with CRC errors.
I debugged and found out the cable itself is transmitting invalid symbols when the port is active and link is up.
if one of two ports is shut (by software) , there is no increment of “Input error symbol” errors . These invalid symbols are the source of CRC errors during traffic test
Would you please verify TX+/TX- differential signals to ensure they’re sending proper valid symbol when cable is in idle.
