Dear Sir

Does TI have any customer use LMH1218 or LMH1219 to design SDI camera ?? for 4k/2k/60 application

If we would like to do ,is below structure correct or not ??

Sony Image sensor => FGPA => LMH1219 => SDI cable => LMH1218 => FPGA or SOC (DVR)

    Hi Kai,

    We cannot comment on our specific customer base, but we can comment that the LMH1218 and LMH1219 can certainly be used when interfacing SDI devices such as a camera.

    In your structure, it looks like you may have the part numbers reversed. The LMH1218 is a cable driver and the LMH1219 is a cable equalizer, so I expect the LMH1218 to be placed at the output of the FPGA before the SDI cable, and the LMH1219 should be placed at the receiving end of the SDI cable before the FPGA/SoC (DVR) input.
