Hi Team,

The customer is using PCI2050B. We see PCI-to-PCI Bridge Figure 3−1 System Block Diagram of the data sheet.

Can the data rate be influenced on PCI-to-PCI Bridge for PCI2050B? That is the data rate on PCI Bus 0, PCI Bus 1 and PCI Bus 2 is the same or different?

If it is different, how does PCI Bus affect the data sheet for PCI2050B?

Hello,
The data rate will be the same on all the PCI Bus, however, the data throughput for each PCI Device on the secondary bus will be affected depending on the number of devices on the secondary bus.
The arbitration scheme is defined in the operating system and the PCI2050B can't allocate more bandwidth on a specific PCI device on the secondary bus.
