Our customer tried the following configuration and DP ans USB functions worked fine.

Notebook--USB/DP Source--> DP EXPANSION(source) + TPS65986EVM <--type-C--> TPS65986 EVM + DP EXPANSION (sink) --Monitor/USB Device

TPS65986 has the default EVM firmware. Cofig ID #0 was used for sink and Config ID #1 was used for source.

Then they would like to to create configuration tool projects which are equivalent to the above configurations,

but they don't know how to create them. Could you send me the projects?

Hello,

The two default projects in the configuration tool in the image below

Where the Config 0 will be the DRP source and Config 1 will be the DRP Host. You will have to re-map the GPIOs according to the TPS65986-EVM schematic.
