Dear Sirs

I use MAX3221 for my new project.

My MAX3221 schematic is shown as follow.

TTL_IRDM_TX (pin11 D1IN) signal is ok. But there is no signal at TX(IRDM_TX)(pin13 D1OUT) .

Could you give me some suggestion? Thanks

Nat,

Check to see that pins 12, 15, 16 are 3.3V
Check to see that pins 3 and 7 are about +/-5.5V

Optional: Use oscilloscope to check charge pump pins.
C1- should (infrequently) switch between GND and VCC
C1+ should (infrequently) switch between VCC and V+
C2- should (infrequently) switch between GND and V-
C2+ should (infrequently) switch between V+ and GND
