Hi Sir,

I have searched through TI solution for LVDS to DVI converter.

Found that there is a solution for DVI to LVDS solution from TI.

Is it applicable for LVDS to DVI? Any method to modify the solution?

Hi Hong,

There may be a way to implement an LVDS-to-DVI solution with 2 chips, such as with a DS90CF386 or DS90CF388 to convert from OpenLDI LVDS (4 data + 1 clock) to 24-bit LVCMOS. Afterwards, the LVCMOS RGB data can be sent to a TFP410 to convert from 24-bit LVCMOS RGB to DVI.

Please note that this assumes the pixel clock you require is supported by the 2 chips.

Hi Hong,

To my knowledge, the TFP410 only supports conversion to HDMI if the HDMI only includes video. It will not support transfer of accompanying audio.
