Hello Team,
We are using LMH0344SQ/NOPB for 3G-SDI, Input will be coming from BNC connector.
I want to know LMH0344SQ/NOPB eliminates jitter from input or do u recommend any recocker .

Hello Prasanna,
It will all depend on what type of jitter you are trying to isolate from the system. Since the LMH0344 is a Cable EQ, it will help with jitter caused by loss in the interconnect media (also known as Data Dependent jitter or ISI). Now if the jitter you are trying to isolate/fix from the system is random or clock dependent the use of a reclocker is recommended.
If you have further questions I’ll be happy to answer them.

Hi Andres,
In my application, the SDI camera will be far away from the board. So we are using equilizer and reclocker near to FPGA.Here reclocker is between FPGA and equalizer.
Please review my design and let me know any modifications required?

Hello,
In this Case which output should i use(SDO or SDO2) .
Is there any benefit if i take outut from SDO2.

Hello Prasanna,
After reviewing your schematic I found no problems with it.
As for the SDO2 output, there is no benefit in using it over SDO other than the capability to use it as a reference clock for synchronization and/or debugging purposes.
