I have a quick question or comment about the boot-strap registers on the DP83867.
In Table 7 on page 37 of the DP83867CS data sheet it looks like strap modes on the RX_CTRL input have the same functionality in modes 1 & 3 and in modes 2 & 4. We have found this is not the case. The 1000base-x only works if the strapping is set for mode 3 and not for mode 1. What is the internal difference between mode 1 and mode 3? Can the data sheet be updated to describe this difference?
